Writing Journal 11.4.2018: Going into the new month closer to publishing than before, and other stuff

Statistically, not too much difference from last week; there’s a few more words, but less revising. Behold:

+876 words written.

Days writing: 3 out of 7.

Days revising: 4 out of 7 for 150 total minutes.

Daily Writing Goals Met (500+ words or 30 minutes of revisions): 5 of 7 days.

So, there it is. And, here this is:

It is just a hint of the news that is coming: the news that I will actually have a book PUBLISHED, possibly even before the year is out. I will reveal all once the contracts have been signed, etc. However, I can say that we are in the final proof stage. Prices for the paperback version (and later the online version) are currently being set.

It’s becoming more real to me now. And at the moment, I could care less how much money I make. Oh, I care a little about it, for sure – I’m not giving it away for free, after all. But, I am just happy to be able to say, soon enough, that I will be a published author.

Of course, when the time comes, I will put forward all of the appropriate links so that anyone interested will be able to get my book. Maybe I should set up a separate page on the blog for those links…

Also, I will have links, etc., set up on my Facebook writing page for all the craziness.

In other news, I’m going to start getting into revising my WIP, trying to shorten up some sections and deal with some other stuff. If I can get it closer to 90,000 words, that would be great.
