Writing Journal 1.12.2020: Another quiet week

Yeah, this will be pretty quick.

Week went by pretty quickly – or, at least the weekend did. It’s going to be a while for me to get to writing effectively and getting odds and ends done. One of the things I noticed about writing and personal passions is that you don’t get a lot of notice if you blow a deadline or two having to do with your hobbies or side passions. That’s specifically why I started tracking my writing production, and why I started this blog, to give me some form of public accountability if nothing else.

Among the things that I should eventually get done but might or might not get done this week:

  • Backup some of my electronic files.
  • Update my electronic file storage.
  • Review other projects I haven’t been working on.

I keep pledging to post an updated list of the projects I’ve got going on. That will likely happen this week because I’ve actually set up a draft post for that and all it will take are a few revisions and additional items.

Then there’s some other stuff which involves selling my house and possibly getting a new one. Before I know it, my family will have a new base of operations.

Here’s the stats from last week. Word count picked up a bit, but it was a short week last week so maybe this is a comedown if you think about it.

+4,693 words written.

Days writing: 6 of 7.

Days revising/planning: 3 of 7 for 90 total minutes.

Daily Writing Goals Met (500+ words or 30 minutes of planning/revisions): 6 of 7 days.

I’ll check in again later.
