Writing Journal 3.20.2021: Keeping going during Spring Break

Another quick one.

I managed to cage a whole week for Spring Break, and it seem to have taken nearly that long to feel like a normal human being again… just before I get back to work.

If I had a less demanding job, I wouldn’t worry about needing time off, I’ll say that. More and more I look at envy at my son’s profession (he’s a heating and air conditioning technician) and wonder why I can’t have a job like that, something I can just set aside when I’m done for the day. I’d love that.

But, you don’t want to hear me whine about that – this is more about writing.

I did not quite get as much done as I wanted before, although I did slightly better than the average production (3,500 words per week and/or 210 minutes of revisions/planning per week.) I think I’ll do better during the spring break.

I am writing something interesting, promise. If you want to see some of the fiction I’ve been doing, check it out here.

Now, the stats. Writers keep writing and everyone else keep safe.
