Hi, all.
As far as last week’s worth of writing went, I’d classify it as not quite what I’d call a disaster and not nearly an acceptably productive week for me.
I was working on a piece for my Substack page which ended up taking a bit of thought to get finished, and as I’ve mentioned in this space, sometimes the pieces taking more thought wind up taking more time to get less words done than other projects I don’t have to worry so much about.
Anyway, enough analysis meaning not much of anything in practice, here’s the numbers.
Writing statistics for the week ending 4 November 2023:
3,179 words written.
Days writing: 6 of 7.
Days revising/planning: 2 of 7 for 60 total minutes.
Daily Writing Goals Met (500+ words or 30 minutes of planning/revisions): 6 of 7 days.
I’m going to get back to writing some more fiction and see if I can pump up the numbers for this week. Take care, everyone.
