By the way, sorry this didn’t come out until earlier, I just flaked out.
Remember how I said I had to cut down on the distractions last week? I’ve had a bit of success on that front, although the Olympics started last week and it might be a little bit of a wash.
As for this week, the stats are:
Writing statistics for the week ending 20 July 2024 (Happy Moon landing anniversary):
4,554 words written.
Days writing: 6 of 7.
Days revising/planning: 2 of 7 for 90 total minutes.
Daily Writing Goals Met (500+ words or 30 minutes of planning/revisions): 7 of 7 days.
These numbers are statistically better than before, although I was hoping I would be having a fantastic month of July. As of right now, I would say it would only be average. However, I still think I’m on pace for 200,000 words at least for this year, which is my goal.
I’m moving into August, which will be right around the end of my break time. I have a strange feeling having less time to write might make me even more of an efficient writer than I am now. We’ll have to see.
Writers keep writing and everyone keep safe.
