Of course I have a horrific week after several good ones. Of course.
Writing statistics for the week ending 10 August 2024:
2,101 words written.
Days writing: 3 of 7.
Days revising/planning: 3 of 7 for 120 total minutes.
Daily Writing Goals Met (500+ words or 30 minutes of planning/revisions): 5 of 7 days.
This represents the last full week of my vacation.
For the next two weeks, I have a light schedule, and then we’re back to teaching kids again. I’m going to have to wait and see if I’m going to be more productive as I slowly adjust to an actual schedule and less time to just do whatever. I myself have found I tend to use my free time a bit more efficiently when I have less of it. Writers tend to do better when they have goals and deadlines, after all.
