[AUTHOR’S NOTE: And how. Sorry for all the typos, I think I got them sorted.]
By the way, since it happens to be the same day, Merry Christmas.

Third week of December 2024 is done. It was the week I finally got on vacation from my teaching job, and to be honest I think my brain decided to take a break as well. However, I’m in some good territory as far as my goals go.
Here’s the stats for last week. I was not as consistent as I have been this week, but it was actually pretty productive.
Writing statistics for the week ending 21 December 2024:
Words: 4,455.
Days writing: 5 of 7.
Days revising or planning: 1 of 7 for 30 minutes.
Daily Writing Goals Met (500+ words or 30 minutes of planning/revisions): 5 of 7 days.
2024 goals update:
At least 200,000 words written for the 2024 calendar year, and past my all-time personal record of 215,152 words I set last year.
As of the end of last week, I have written 217,820 words for the year 2024, a new personal best. Despite flaking out this past weekend, I still exceeded last year’s total. I’ve got at least another week to try and get more written. 220,000 words looks like a cinch to reach, but 225,000 words might be tight with the amount of time left in the year.Meeting my daily writing goals (at least 500 words written or 30 minutes spent revising or planning new work) at least 75 percent of the year.
Done and dusted, complete.- Complete my rough draft of The Yank Striker 2 (second in The Yank Striker series), which should be approximately 75,000 words, by the end of the calendar year.
As of the end of last week, I’m now at 71,731 words on the rough draft. I might be close but not quite there at the end.
One last week. I want to make sure I get some writing in this week for sure, even on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day if I can manage it.
All you writers keep writing and everyone keep safe.
