Well, hello, everyone.
I was hoping to get the first full week of 2025 off to a good start, especially while trying to finish off the rough draft for The Yank Striker 2. Looks like mission accomplished so far.
The numbers for last week:
Writing statistics for the week ending 11 January 2025:
Words: 6,011
Days writing: 7 of 7.
Days revising or planning: 0 of 7 for 0 minutes.
Daily Writing Goals Met (500+ words or 30 minutes of planning/revisions): 6 of 7 days.
I honestly don’t have too much to say. I feel like I’ve been especially motivated to be productive to get this rough draft for The Yank Striker 2 finished up. In some ways, I feel like a surgeon who realizes he’s done all he can for a patient, so I’m hurrying to sew up the rough draft and let it sit for four weeks.
I am just under 78,000 words on the rough draft at the end of this current week. I see myself only having one or two scenes needed to write and one more scene to flesh out. The plan is for The Yank Striker 2 to get published in Summer 2025.
