Writing Journal 12 February 2025: Very successful first week of February

Hi once again.

All things considered, I’ve had a great first week of February as far as productive writing went. It was just one of those weeks where there wasn’t much to really brag about, but at least I kept a good pace.

The numbers for last week:

Actually, it was overall better than my (all right) productivity last week, but I’m not going to celebrate all that much. I want to keep steady and keep working, writing more than I ever have.

My productivity goals for this year: At least 200,000 words for the year minimum, with an effort to get to 225,000, which would be a new personal record for me. In addition, I want to meet my minimum daily quotas (500 words per day or 30 minutes of revisions and planning) at least 80 percent of the time.

I’ve begun revisions for The Yank Striker 2 last Saturday, so we’ll have to see how much more revising time logging in. Then again, I also have two novel-length works in different stages of development as well as my blogs and poetry.

All you writers keep writing and the rest of you stay safe.
