Well, hello again.
I’m well into refining the second draft of The Yank Striker 2. It is my intent to have completed version 2.0 (or perhaps 2.1 or 2.2 if I am being completely honest) by the end of this week, and for once I believe I might actually stick to a deadline. More on the situation in a moment. Here are the numbers for last week:
Writing statistics for the week ending 22 February 2025:
Words: 4.864
Days writing: 7 of 7.
Days revising or planning: 5 of 7 for 330 minutes.
Daily Writing Goals Met (500+ words or 30 minutes of planning/revisions): 7 of 7 days.
In the end, I can’t have any complaints about productivity this week. I just want to keep writing and revising consistently as I continue into the year. This is my current timeline for The Yank Striker 2.
Second draft – begun by 8 February and completed by the end of the month at the latest.Right now I think this is about in the bag.- Beta reads – begun at the start of March and completed by the end of March.
- Two more rounds of revisions in April.
- Final editing and proofreading in May and concluding by the end of May.
- Publication June 2025.
By the way, if you are interested in being a beta reader for The Yank Striker 2, hit me up in the comments or at jasonliegois@liegois.media. Make sure to use “Beta Reader Yank Striker 2” in the subject line so I don’t lose track of it.
That’s all I have for the moment. All you writers keep writing and the rest of you stay safe.
