Hi, everyone.
It was just one of those weeks that dragged a bit when you think about things. It wasn’t a horrific week by most standards, it just seemed a bit long.
At least I got some writing done last week. Here are the numbers:
Writing statistics for the week ending 1 March 2025:
Words: 5,165
Days writing: 7 of 7.
Days revising or planning: 4 of 7 for 120 minutes.
Daily Writing Goals Met (500+ words or 30 minutes of planning/revisions): 7 of 7 days.
I was slightly more inconsistent in my writing and there was less revising time spent, and my raw word count was down but still ahead of my goal to write at least 4,330 words per week to help meet my new yearly writing goal (225,000).
This is my current timeline for my new work in progress, The Yank Striker 2:
- Beta reads – begin at the start of March and completed by the end of March.
- Two more rounds of revisions in April.
- Final editing and proofreading in May and concluding by the end of May.
- Publication June 2025.
That’s it for now. I’m hoping things pick up this week. Take care everyone.
