Writing Journal 2.27.2021: Uneven but productive week

I’m keeping this short.

The previous week was pretty productive, even though that production fell through the floor during the last part of the week. However, my overall word count was well up.

Eventually, I am going to start writing more on here again than these journals. I am working on a couple of drafts I began last year. There’s been so much that COVID and teaching in general have put on hold – but that will finally clear up in early June. There’s been a bit of weirdness this past year related to that and other things. I might get into that a little here, but only a little bit and after things have settled down.

Maybe by this summer I might actually start exploring around this central Iowa area and seeing what there is, especially regarding any writing community. I do miss my former writing group Writers on the Avenue from Muscatine. I learned that the group is starting its own imprint. Congratulations to them.

Anyway, here’s the numbers. Have a good week, and you writers keep writing.

+7,825 words written.
Days writing: 4  of 7.
Days revising/planning:0 of 7 for 0 total minutes.
Daily Writing Goals Met (500+ words or 30 minutes of planning/revisions): 3 of 7 days.
