Writing Journal, 13 December 2023: Finally got out of a writing rut

Hi, and welcome.

For once, I finally got out of my relative writing slump I’d been slogging through for a while, even though I managed to crawl across my word count goal finish line by the end of November. I had a couple of things on my mind, to be honest.

It would be great if I managed to hit an all-time record for this year, although I’m not stressing out about it one way or the other. Last week, I managed to get bigger numbers than I managed for five weeks. Anyway, here’s the numbers.

Writing statistics for the week ending 9 December 2023:
4,047 words written.
Days writing: 6 out of 7.
Days revising/planning 1 out of 7 for 120 minutes.
Daily Writing Goals Met: 6 out of 7 days.

I’m hoping for an equally good week this week. Anyway, see you later.
