Writing Journal, 28 August 2024: 👎🏻👍🏻

The title pretty much sums it up. This week was better than the previous two weeks, but not as good as I want it to be. I’m just getting more demanding of myself these days.

So far, I’ve spent a little longer at work than I’ve anticipated, but not by much. I don’t want my productivity to go down from the head start I got back in July. I should still be on pace, but not by much after this month. I’ve got about a week left to work, and I’m going to use every bit of it. Thankfully, I’ve gotten off to a good start. And now that we have started the school year in earnest, maybe I finally budget my time and get cracking. I’ve gotten started on a new scene for The Yank Striker 2, another project I’ve been working on (Untitled Wrestling Project). Then, of course, there are my blog posts and some fan fiction I continue to dabble with.

Finally, I’ve actually started sorting through all of the poetry I’ve been producing to see what sort of chapbook I could make. I think I have found a number of poems joining together in a common theme. I think I want to at least look at some revisions on some of the poetry, but I’m feeling a lot better about what will eventually take shape. My dedication to producing some new poems each month has paid off in this productivity as well.

Take care everyone, and good luck to all the writers out there trying to write.
