I’ll make this quick.
As I am hurtling toward the new school year (whatever that looks like – the only thing I think I can be assured of is that it will not go as planned and that’s all I’ll say here), I always feel like I wasted time that I could have been using writing.
I look at the projects that are on tap for me and think about how much I have left undone.
However, I think a little longer and think back to the times when I went without writing anything for months and years at a time. I feel grateful that I have set myself up in a way that is intended to keep me writing consistently if not at a Stephen King-level pace. And, I’m grateful of the stuff I have accomplished. I’m writing and revising at a better pace from year to year. That’s a good thing.
That’s going to be it for now. On tap for this week, at least one Lord of the Rings read review and maybe a Writer’s Biography piece.
Here’s the stats. Not too much change statistically from last week. Take care, everyone.
